Privacy Policy for Twenty Six Miler (26Miler) Alexa Skill
This privacy policy describes how Twenty Six Miler (‘Twenty Six Miler’, ‘26Miler’, ‘us’ or ‘we’) protects your (“you”, “the user”) privacy and your data. Before using any of our Alexa Skills (“our skills”), please read this policy and our Alexa Skills Terms of Use, as well as the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policies by the Amazon Digital Services LLC (with its affiliates, “Amazon”).
Regarding Amazon, “Alexa” means their Alexa Voice Service which includes third party services (like our skills) and other related Software.

General
- In order to use the Skill you will need an Alexa enabled device, like Amazon Echo. This skill requires an existing strava.com account and during account linking, the user is redirected to strava.com website for authentication where user needs to provide the login credentials of strava.com account to link this skill.
- When you use our skills you have to talk to Alexa. This voice input is sent to Amazon and us where we use it to understand what our skill should do for you. This is absolutely necessary for our service to give you an appropriate answer.
- As of now, twenty six miler (26miler) alexa skill only supports voice commands spoken in English (en-US locale) language and responds using the same language.
- We are not sponsored or endorsed by strava.com.
Data
- We endeavour to make sure the information we provide is correct but you should not rely on any of the information. We or our developers accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of using the Skill, including as a result of us providing inaccurate, untimely, incomplete, erroneous information.
- To improve our services we analyze automatically how often utterances are spoken and other analytics. This is done automatically by Amazon in the Amazon Developer Portal.
- We never collect or share personal data with our skills. For some of our skills it is necessary to save data for you in our databases. This data is only connected to your UserId but never to your name or any other personal identifiable information. We save your activity details as received from strava api. Otherwise we could not provide you this service.
- We may disclose any collected information: As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process, When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
- By using the Skills, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. “Processing,” means using information collected by the Skill or by the computer network facilities provided by Amazon in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities may take place in any geographic region of the world where our backend infrastructure provider host their services. We are not limited to any specific infrastructure provider and at any time we may choose to use any infrastructure (cloud) provider based on our discretion without any prior notice.

Our skills or parts of it may change or be updated at any time. Further, this Privacy Policy might change. You can find a link to this policy on the description page of the skill in the Alexa App or in the Alexa Store. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you shall not access or use the skills. Your continued use of our skill after changes of the Privacy Policy or the skill itself will be seen as your acceptance of both.
